Stats!

Both kiddos have had recent appointments so here are the stats!

Addison: 31.5 pounds (60%) 36.4 inches (36%) And excelling in everything! Miss AJ is very vocal...VERY vocal and has a huge vocabulary. She is very articulate and communicates very clearly (minus the tantrums). She does have some tantrums, some really big ones but they seem to be diminishing. We are being much more consistent and have curbed a lot of the big ones before they start. She is now going to bed between 830 and 9 in HER OWN BED (a big milestone for us!), granted she may still sneak in with us around 5ish but most of the night is better than none! She is very motivated and determined. She can be super sweet and loves her baby brother. She plays nice with him and helps him get things. She is even is trying to help teach him to talk! And besides being adorable, she is super funny! LOVES singing and dancing and always tries to make us laugh and smile.

Ji'Robert: I can't find my printout!!! What a bad mom! I think he was 30 inches (about 5%) and 30 pounds (about 85%). He is doing well in every category except expressive communication, i.e., speech. He's gone through a big long evaluation and they will start speech therapy twice a month for six months to see how he progresses. Even through the evaluation he has made great progress from not saying or repeating anything to saying 3-4 independent words and repeating back even more words! So as of today, he is saying independently (meaning he says them appropriately on his own) Kiki (kitty), byebye, and up. He's also started signing more which has been helpful. He's had two hearing tests which have been inconclusive due to him ignoring them! We know he hears voices really well, high low, loud soft, but the sounds he ignores. So in a few months we'll try to do independent ear testing to see if we can see if he has any deficits in one ear. So far his air and bone conduction tests are normal so thats good. Most of you who know me know that I get stressed out easily when it comes to medical stuff but I'm really not concerned about his hearing! I worked at deaf hard of hearing camps so even if he was completely deaf (which we know he isn't) it wouldn't be a big deal for me. I'm just glad to get him speech now instead of waiting until he is further behind. He does follow directions well and receptively seems fine! JT is a funny little guy. He LOVES his big sister and follows her around and tries to do everything that she does! He loves dancing and jumping and even can jump pretty high! His favorite toy right now is his new cozy coupe! And he just got his second hair cut! Holy cow its growing fast now!

So we have two beautiful wonderful amazing kids!

And our goals for this year... we are making progress!
1. Compact: This month I am tracking our spending (well mainly my spending but since I do most of the shopping, bill paying, etc, its fairly accurate)

2. Decrease Processed Foods: SUCCESSFUL! This is going great! We've been eating tons more fruits/vegis and natural or organic foods. I'm making almost everything from scratch with healthy ingredients. The kids are loving it. We've found some healthier snacks. We haven't eaten fast food at all :) and we haven't had hardly any processed foods. So this goal is sticking so far!

3. Increase Family Time: Doing ok! We've decreased plans and have been spending more family time or just quiet time at home. The cold weather has helped! Although with Jared coaching, its a little more difficult at the moment. My next goal is to find a time to have a date night and go out to eat without the kids!

Well that's all for now! Pics to come soonish!
