video number 1- the "slide"
Here is Mister Ji'Roberts version of the crawl! It's more of a butt slide!
Usually it is much faster than this and he can get to anything anywhere fairly quickly but he seems to stall when I get the camera out!

Weekly Post
Well my bloggy days seem to be getting further and further apart which may be due to the fact that we are incredibly busy finding fun stuff to do or maybe due to the fact that bedtime is a little more challenging these days and Addy is staying up later than usual. Regardless, I do have hopes of returning to a more frequent posting basis! So here is our week in a nutshell!
Addy was hot so decided to take her clothes off and sit in a box. Of course blankie had to be in the box as well!
We met Alden and Logan at the animal park near us for springfest!
Alden and Addy liked petting the pony. Addy seriously is REFUSING to smile for pictures anymore!
So backwards shots of AJ seem to be a more frequent occurance!
Addy, Alden, JT, Logan. Addy ran away and didnt want to sit on the bench so decided to be in the bench!
We actually had a pretty good day at the park. Addy walked alone without a stroller and listened fairly well and we only had one tantrum and that was because she thought we were leaving Alden when in fact we were just driving to another area to have a picnic!

So after 1 1/2 hours of negotiating nap time, this is how I found her... Note that the boots were up fairly high in her closet and were in the too small pile!

A weekend away!
Jared and I were blessed with a weekend away! Just the two of us! I'm pretty sure that hasn't happend since we brought home Addy except for one wedding we went to. We packed in the fun since we only had two days. We started off with a quick round of disc golf at a ski resort, um, ya, my legs were killing me after going up just the first hill. Then it was off to a cute little town where we had lunch and wandered around a city festival. We decided we would enjoy our time and do the things that we don't get to do everyday. So we went and saw How to Train a Dragon in 3D, it was SUPER cute (movie popcorn always a bonus)! Then we got ready and went to a benefit and then took the super long way back to the hotel seeing as we got a little turned around! On Sunday we enjoyed a nice breakfast, a quick round of disc golf at at much flatter park, and had lunch in town and wandered around the historic little shops and cute stores.
We decided we should attempt to do this every 6 months, just a nice weekend away, just Jared and I.
A big thank you to my mom who kept the kids for the weekend (although I think it was just as fun for her)! After picking up the kids we swung by Jareds dads for dinner and then headed home. The worst part about a weekend away is unpacking! (Hence the bags are still in the front hallway!)
Note the bells on her wrists, a special something we picked up for the kids on our trip... might regret it but for the moment she loves them! And the bonus is that we know where she is!

Happy Mother's Day!
And so today we honor all mothers everywhere!
Mother's day is special to us as we honor our birthmoms as well. They are amazing women who have chosen adoption for thier child and have chosen us to parent these amazing kids. They are women who have made the hardest decision of their lives but chose to give their child what they wouldn't have been able to. Both of our birthmoms love these kids more than anything. We are truely blessed to have these two women in our lives and are in awe of their strength and courage. We are doublely blessed to have open adoptions where we have some contact with their birthmoms and birthfamilies as well.
So as you celebrate today, remember all the moms who have touched your life, the moms who have sacrified to give their children better lives, the moms who have lost children, the moms working numerous jobs to do everything they can for their children and most importantly your mom!

Last two weeks in pictures!
Since our internet has been off, I have crammed ten posts into one!
We had JT baptized on his 10 month birthday! He did great and so did Big Sissy! During the baptism, Addy kept reassuring Ty "Don't worry TyTy, it's just water, don't worry TyTy". SO CUTE! A special thanks to our god parents Jon and Robyn. And a big thanks to our friend Shawna for taking pictures!

hmmm...
Ok, so my posts are getting further and further apart but I assure you it's not for lack of trying! Our internet service SUCKS to say the least and our provider has shut off our internet and cable 3 times now and turned off the internet another 2 times! Needless to say we are looking into options. So due to lack of service at home, the posts aren't able to get up!
Here are a few updates, the pics will be posted tomorrow!
Ji'Robert Tyler Updates: He's got 6 teeth with one ready to spring up any second. He is VERY mobile but he scoots on his butt. He can now also go from laying to sitting much easilier and whenever he wants. He will attempt to pull himself to a standing position some. He is pushing up so that he is on his two hands and two feet (I'm thinking he'll do that instead of crawling which is what Addy did too). He's smiley and easy to make laugh. He's still a bit fussy with what he eats. He prefers his food at room temperature or heated up or he wants to be able to feed it to himself.
Addison Javonna Sharelle Updates: Busy busy busy! She is hysterical and has a lot of funny comebacks and is just adorable. She has really good weeks where she is super sweet, funny, and listens, and then she has really naughty weeks where she wont listen, runs away, and throws big tantrums. She would rather not wear clothes. She loves sitting on the potty though she rarely actually goes on the toilet. She loves the Wizard of Oz and Sponge Bob. Still into Dora a bit but not really into Elmo as much anymore. She is a good big sister. She loves being outside. She loves playing with her friends but they are kind of mischievious together!
And Jared and I, we are as busy as ever! Jared is playing a lot of disc golf and I start my new job next Wednesday! But next weekend, we are going to go get away just the two of us! Should be fun! We are going to a benefit for a charity that is near and dear to my heart and then we will be finding fun stuff to do as well!
I'll post the pictures tomorrow, I promise (unless of course the internet is shut off again!).
