Yikes, falling behind!
Addy Updates: Addy is talking in sentances, having whole conversations, and singing up a storm! She has mommy and me dance class every Tuesday with her little friend Sophia and they are seriously the cutest kids in the world in their little leotards and ballet slippers! She is overly coordinated and is still very busy and figures things out very quickly. Addy continues to be an amazing big sister and is such a helper. She loves her baby dolly too and mimics whatever I do to Tyler, she does with her baby dolls. She is super sweet and helpful, her tantrums are decreasing, and she is starting to follow directions and listen better (bonus!). And she still loves mommy-addy rocking time before bed :)
Tyler Updates: Tyler is definetly a good eater! He is over 15 pounds (on our unofficial home scale), is in 6-9 month clothing, is smiling and laughing, and starting to push himself up more when on his tummy. Sleeping at night is improving but he is hungry a lot so wakes up to eat numerous times. We are hoping to get our legal paperwork soon so that we can submit our petition to adopt to court and get a court date to finalize!
No time to upload pictures at the moment so stay posted for those! Oh and my new Kodak Zi8 video camera came so videos will be much easier and faster to post! Still need to get it out of the package and get it going!

Back to work....
This is what happend five minutes after going to bed tonight... I heard Addy singing away! (watch for a couple seconds and I turn the light on!)
Well alas all good things must come to an end. My maternity leave is up and I head back to work tomorrow with mixed feelings. I cannot believe our little guy is already almost 12 weeks old! And boy did the summer go by WAY too fast! I feel like just yesterday we left for Alabama and were heading south to meet an amazing birthmom and baby boy. The timing, although insanely fast, turned out to be a blessing. We got to spend the whole summer together as a family of 4. Jared was off for school, I had maternity leave, and Addy only went to daycare twice a week. It was an amazing time and many memories were made. It is probably the only time we will have 8 solid weeks together as a family without work!
As I go back to work, I am sad to know that I will be missing out on part of Tyler's little life as he is just getting more interactive and starting to play. With Addy, at 12 weeks I couldn't imagine going back to work since she was just getting so interactive and with 8 weeks left of my leave, I wondered how other parents did it. I had 8 more weeks with her as an interactive baby learning new things everyday. And this is what makes me sad with Tyler. I got to spend the incredible first days in the hospital and got to experience having a newborn and for that I am thankful but now grieve the loss of the extra time that I had home with Addy that don't have with him.
I am positive he will do well at daycare (Addy LOVES it there!) and I know his amazing big sister will be a good helper and will watchout for him. I told Addy tonight that Tyler was going to Bridgets with her tomorrow and she was excited! Good thing Tyler has such a good big sister!

Baby Tyler
Addy came home from daycare today and wanted to feed her babydoll. She picked it up, got its bottle, and sat down to feed it. I asked her what her baby's name was and she said "Baby Tyler"... So CUTE! So now she has a baby wearing pink named baby tyler! What a good little mama!

2 Months and SMILING!
Addy is still an amazing big sister and has settled into life with a brother. She is back at daycare full time now and is sticking pretty well to her schedule and sleeping great at night. We are attempting no binkie at daycare which she seems to be doing well with. So after another week we will attempt to limit it to nighttime at home.
I repainted the and it looks pretty good, hopefully it will last through the winter still looking nice! Still have a big to-do list as well. Hopefully I will get a few smaller projects done during naptimes the next 2 weeks.... Ya, can you believe I have to go back to work in two weeks!!!! How SAD! I would so rather stay home for a while longer.
