It is things like this that make me realize how amazing my little girl is. She went on stage, did a great job with bilateral ear infections and all. It makes me realize how fast she is growing up. Its one of those moments that is forever etched in my memory and that means so much. What a sweet little cutie!

Busy Fun Weekend!

This weekend was full of fun! Tyler rolled over, all of the moms had a fun moms night out without the kids, Delaney and her mom stayed overnight, Delaney had her birthday party, Amanda came and hung out with us during the football game, I did Addys hair, and got a tiny bit of scrapbooking done too. I was hoping to get Ty's room painted too but just didn't feel like it and painting is definetly something you have to want to do! Maybe later this week!

Delaney and Addy played SO nice together. Even Ty got some love from the girls! The newest babes in the group: Nell (front left 8 months), Ji'Robert Tyler (middle 6 1/2 months), & Kenzi (front right 3 weeks).

This is an amazing picture. The TEN toddlers/infants sat SUPER NICELY for quite a few minutes while all of the moms snapped pictures... This is such a rare event that we were all in shock! This has been attempted numerous times without a lot of luck but this time they were SO good! They must be growing up!

Today we finalized our adoption for Mr Ji'Robert Tyler with the same judge that we finalized Addy's adoption with!

After court, our family and friends went to Perkins to celebrate.

Finalizing our adoption is amazing, wonderful, relieving, and sad all at the same time. For us, its a day of hope of moving forward as a family of four. For Ji'Roberts birthfamily its a day of finality. We are lucky to have a very open relationship with his birthfamily and will see them again soon. He legally now has our last name and is ours in every sense of the word as if we had given birth to him but we intend to honor his birthfamily and keep them in his life and in ours. We could not be more grateful to have been chosen to parent this amazing little boy. We love him with all of our heart.

Just for fun...

We are trying to encourage and teach JT to roll so Addy is helping too! Look closely, there is a small gap between his stomach and the floor! He can lift it up a tiny bit!

Since it was a bit warmer out today, we bundled up and went sledding on the small incline in our backyard. I had to get pics of Ji'Robert Tyler in a snowsuit to send to his birthfamily since they are in Alabama and never see snow!

Addy's stuffed Bianca Puppy had to join us for our sledding adventure.

Earlier this week we had a playdate with Nora. The girls played nicely together and even rode the pony together!

We have gone to a couple of Jareds basketball games and of course the kids have thier cutie petutie outfits on! Addy LOVES my friend Amanda! We had a fun night out at BWW's! YUM!
Oh, and she loves Amandas dog Bianca too!

My little boy...

Our baby boy isn't quite as big as we thought! We had Ji'Robert Tylers 6 month appointment today... Here are the stats...

Weight: 21.6 pounds (93%)
Height: 25.4 inches (11%)
Head Circumference 65%

Overall Ty is doing very well. He's got really dry skin so we are trying some new things and still has yet to roll. He is scooting around and sits very steady so the doc isn't too worried but we have one month to get him to roll! Honestly, I am pretty sure he won't roll. He has no interest and now that he can scoot around, he has no reason to roll anymore. Plus his sister brings him a pile of toys so nothing is ever too far out of reach! The rest of his developmental checklist was at or above the 6 month mark so he is doing well!

We are getting professional pictures taken as a family and of the kids this weekend so I am excited for that!

This past Monday Shawna and Sophia came over to compare digital scrapbooking kits and learn from eachother. At one point it was very quiet and the girls were playing upstairs so we thought we should go check to see what they were getting into...
