Finally the much promised videos!

It's a little long but I edited four videos to put into one!

New Goals...

Due to being insanely busy, the blog seems to be falling by the wayside and is being neglected. Seems that when I was on maternity leave it was much easier to find time to upload pictures and post about what is going on. Basketball season seems to be impacting it as well since I am at home with the kids quite a bit while Jared coaches, so with that ending soon hopefully things will get a little back on track. Although frisbee season is already starting too! I really want to keep the blog up because its a good journal of our childrens lives and at some point I will block enough time to make blog books for them (and me!). So my new goal will be to post at least once a week with the hopes that some weeks will have more than just one post. So here is the last week!
Ty got his first little toothy! Here it is a couple days later and a little easier to see! The next one is on its way in too so that one should poke through in the next day or two!
After Addy's birthday and Christmas, we put a lot of the toys and gifts away so that throughout the winter we could take out special gifts instead of just opening them all up at once. So we decided it was time to take out her princess costume that she got from Amanda and Bianca.
How cute is she!!!! (note the high heels!) She LOVED her "wish" (aka wand) and all the play jewelry that came with the outfit.

Yep, she truely is a princess!

Princess Addison Javonna Sharelle also thought it would be fitting to have a tea party for the dollies and JT's monkey! (seriously cute)

Project Pink Carseat is in full swing! OK so I never intended that my son would have a pink carseat. When we brought Addy home, I was very careful to buy gender neutral carseats, strollers, crib, etc so that if we had a boy the second time, that we could reuse all the big stuff... Well all that planning went out the wayside! Ty is too big for his infant seat so we needed to buy a convertible rear facing seat (we skipped that with Addy). So I polled my friends, searched the internet and came to the conclusion that the Britax Marathon was the best choice. It was however insanely expensive. And then I found out that for February some of them went on sale. Well the only ones that were on sale were pink or purple... So I told Addy to pick a color! Once we switch Ty to be front facing after he is 12-24 months, we will trade carseats and Addy will get the pink one and Ty will get the black one that Addy is using. Seriously, pink or spend 200$ more, I'll take the clearance one! And Ty seems happy with the choice. Real men ride pink right!
Today we decided to do a special family day. We went up to the big zoo! It was a lot of fun (except for the half hour meltdown on the Monorail!). Addy LOVED the animals and JT loved the big fish and sharks. They finally got a chance to ride in the new double jogger we got a while ago and really liked sitting next to each other. I think it will be great this summer!

And tonight, our friend was speaking at a fundraiser for her adoption agency so we took Miss Sophia for the night. I wasn't fast enough to get a good pics of the girls making the loop running with their dollies in the strollers!
And a little love for Mr JT as well!
They even sat nicely for half of a movie (the half where they were eating popcorn)!

I do have some videos from the past few weeks that will be posted soon too! I know I keep saying that but they are finally uploading right now!

Updated blog appearance....

So what do you think... obviously I did something wrong since there is white space on both sides of the blog column... I'll have to work on that. Not sure I am thrilled with the header either, love the pic just not the layout... suggestions?

So behind!!

Holy cow, we are behind on our blog! So here is a big long picture filled catch up post! I won't make excuses for not keeping up to date besides being really busy and our internet was down for 3 days... I know 3 whole days! What did we ever do before we had the internet! And then the cable guy came, brought us a new modem, and got us all fixed up!

So... Addy is now 2 years old and goofy as ever... Anyone else wear their Elmo undies like this? Addy and Sophia are still in dance together and are just super cute! Jared had the pleasure of being able to go with Addy and dance with her for one of the classes so of course I took pictures and video... the video will hopefully be uploaded later this week.
Mr Ji'Rober Tyler is getting old! He's 7 months now, super sweet and cuddly, and very easy to make smile and laugh. He is now 23 pounds! Here he is showing off his cute little grin and new PJs (which by the way are already too small!).
So handsome.
Addy loves to do projects! I had a ton of felt left over from a project quite a few years ago so thought we would put some of it to use! When I was younger I made a felt puppet and loved it so we made 3. I cut out the parts that she asked for and she glued them on!
Here they are! Mine from when I was little is the cheerleader with the big P... I guess I always must have known I would be a Pittman!
I had a basketball date with a friend to go the Jareds basketball game (they were playing her home town) but due to a big snowstorm, the game was cancelled so we cancelled the babysitter and had a basketball playdate instead.
Introducing Team USA 2026!
The last couple weeks were filled with fun playdates! Miss Nora came over for a bit to play and the girls played very nicely!
Mr Miles came over, we ate Vietnamese food (YUM) and hung out. Miles is the only boy in our adoption playgroup and we only have a couple boy friends so its nice for Ty to get some playtime in with another guy! Miles was great with him and just loved him up!

Addy shared her toys (ok, shared may be a strong word)... Addy attempted to try to share her toys! The pony-on-a-stick was a big hit! (Anne, note the more appropriate picture!)
Addy is super cute most of the time! She is very very verbal and has real whole grown up conversations. She asks many questions (Why? is popular) and is figuring out the world around her. She is very observant and remembers EVERYTHING! So don't tell her anything you don't want her repeating!
Ty is sitting super well right now. He can push up almost to his knees and can scoot in circles and backwards on his stomach. Still has only rolled once but his roundness is impeding this some! He loves his bouncy seat and his baby walker and today was able to reach the ground in his walker and move backward across the floor! He is very strong and able to stand with holding on your fingers and can pull himself up if he holds your fingers as well.
My friend Kelli and her girls came over this weekend to make tutu's and learn about digital scrapbooking! Everyone played together wonderfully and the older girls even helped make the tutu's. They turned out great! Addy picked out her own colors. I tried to get her to just pick two but when we were at the store she was very insistant that she needed three colors for her tutu... Pink, Orange, and Yellow! And she was right, its the cutest one I've made!
Took a quick trip to the cities to visit Meena and Papa. The kids got to meet Murphy the newest member of the family! He was SO good with the kids and at only 4 months old is huge! He snuggled right in and layed next to Ty!
We went to Build-A-Bear so that Addy could make Tyler a bear. Addy has one that Meena made for her when she came home and then Addy got to help make one to keep at Meenas last year. So we thought it would be a sweet idea for her to make one for her baby brother. She was very excited to make him one. We looked at the bears, puppies, kitties, bunny, frog, and random other animals and what did she choose for him.....
The Monkey!
Picking out the perfect hear to put inside the monkey.
Putting his heart inside of him...
JT enjoying his new Monkey... Addy even named the monkey... Papo.. Not sure where that came from but Papo the Monkey it is! He's wearing a little aviation t-shirt and pants! So cute!
Of course we couldn't have Addy make something for Ty and then not get anything herself. So she got an outfit for her Bunny.
So there it is...All updated except for a few videos that I NEED to get up on here soon! Oh and I definetly need to get the header updated too! Stay tuned for more!

Pics!

Some old pics from a couple weeks ago.. Our internet has been having issues but is finally fixed! More new pics to come soon, I've got to get them out of my camera first!

A couple of weeks ago our Flexirods came in the mail and since neither Shawna or I had used them we thought it would be good to do together and learn from eachother! The girls sat AMAZINGLY well together and watched Dora. It was a nice time doing hair together.
Sophia's blue rods... Addy's yellow rods...
Addys results, hard to see in the picture but turned out pretty cute. Didn't stay in very well so I have ideas for how to make it work better next time!
Ty and his basketballs~What a cutie!
