I think the stomach bug is finally gone, no issues in 2 days! So today we spent some time outside at the park in the beautiful weather. It was nice to be outside in T-shirts! We ran some errands and got a new pair of "outdoor" shoes for Addy. We needed a pair of sneakers that could be used at the parks, in the dirt, and ones we didn't care about. Do you know how hard it is to find a pair of toddler shoes without a character on them? Tons of Winnie-the-Pooh and Dora, but alas I found a pair that were just white and purple. Purple by the way may be Addy's favorite color, she 
tends to pick it over others and can even say purple! Had lunch at McD's, she even ate her apple dippers (not dipped though). We played outside 
in the front yard and even colored using markers! She loved the markers, good thing they were washable and non-toxic! A nice fun mommy and me day!

So we got in the car and sang "its raining its pouring" and then I realized how morbid that song is (subdural hematoma maybe?, hit his head and couldn't wake up), and for that matter how morbid many kids songs are (rock a bye baby, ring around the rosie, jack n jill, etc)! YIKES! Anyone know any happy songs?
