Fourth of July Weekend!

Friday was Ji'Roberts birthday so we headed up to the cities to see my sister and aunt who were both in town and to see my parents. Ty and Addy played in the fountain and pool at my moms which has always been a favorite for Addy. Ty joined in this year and loved it as well!

The next day we headed north to go to our extended families cabins. Growing up I have fond memories of going up there for the fourth of July so its exciting that my kids will hopefully have fun memories as well. We took Addy up there two years ago when she was just 6 1/2 months old.

The day of the parade, he snuck a quick nap in while we waited for the parade to start!

Had to grab a couple pics on the decorated tractors! The parade is in a tiny little town and pretty much everyone is in the parade on tractors, floats, cars, horses, etc. It ends up being a pretty long parade with TONS of candy!

Ty was decked out in his 4th gear too!

And was very festive waving his flag! Addy was SO cute during the parade! She kept yelling happy fourth to everyone and yelling thank you after they through candy! At least she was polite.

It was a fun weekend! A little challenging and a lot of work with both the kiddos but we had a good time and the kids were pretty good overall! Hoping we are able to make it up there next year when if all goes as planned, the kids will be a little easier (3 1/2 and 2)!
