Handsome Little Man...

I wanted to sent JT's birthmom a picture pack for Easter and realized that in the past month I haven't taken enough of my little guy! So we headed to the park this morning to take a few! As you may remember, he is a very active busy little boy so getting a picture is hard to get!
LOVE! I have one of them last year on this same toy so I'll have to find where that is!

I wanted to take some in a cute fancy outfit so got out the shirt and vest that came with the pants that I needed for the wedding they were in. And how do you keep a 4 year old big sister busy so that you can take pics of baby brother.... give her a camera too! (And yes he is only fancy from the waist up!)

So handsome.

Love my sissy!

Sweet little boy...

Ji'Robert and I took a lovely trip to the park one night....
After having LASAGNA for dinner which both the kids LoveD!

We even got his hair all coiled up!

This is what Jared came home to one day.... Ty wearing his pants, AJ wearing his shirts!

Pretty girl....

Got a cute dress=need pics!

My favorite one below...
The black graffiti is new since the last time we took pics here! Don't worry, I photoshopped it out to print the pics! Why I didn't notice when we took the pics I have no idea! It wasn't until they were uploaded that I noticed it!

Lack o'pics~

For some reason so far in 2012 I haven't taken many pics at all! Booo! I'll have to get back on that!

I have a dress from when I was little that needed a little TLC so I fixed it up and put it on one pretty little girl!

And one in our leopard fleece too!

Its Green Day!

On Monday on the way back from JT's class, I could hear AJ and him talking in the back seat. Ty was telling Addy all about monsters. Then I hear Addy say to him in her I'm a big sister you are a silly little brother voice, "Um Ty, monsters aren't real, they are just pretend but I will tell you what is real..... LEPRECHAUNS!!!" And then what followed was all of the details about what they do wear, the rainbow with a pot of gold etc. She was SO proud of herself and super excited to tell him all about Leprechauns.

So although I have never really done anything for St Pattys day, I thought the leprechauns should pay us a very green visit...a Green only picnic!
My littles doing their Leprechaun faces... I haven't got a clue where they came up with these or why they think this is what the face of a Leprechaun looks like!
We had a fun day... a trip to the local zoo... and this was JT's favorite animal.....
The backhoe!
A little jaunt with bubbles!
Snacks with friends...And a little scooting in the park!
Ty was a little adventurer on his scooter, all over the park, up and down the hills, zooming around!
We topped the day off with a basketball potluck for Jareds freshman team. The family hosting it has a basketball court in their shed and the older boys took JT out to the shed to play basketball with them! Even Addy had fun playing with the big kids!

Feelin' a little crafty....

I was feeling a bit crafty today so figured I should tackle some things that I have been wanting to do for some time...
1-make more fun hair things! (Thank you Pintrest for easy instructions!)... I just used scrap fabric this time to see what works, what doesn't, what is best for Miss A.... So we made some fabric rosettes to hook to clips (center), repurposed t-shirt 5strand braided head bands (purple top right), reversible headband (bottom right), reversible tie headband (top left {only one with new fabric}). For a first time run, I think they turned out pretty good. Now to do them with fun fabrics!
I've had a "system" in my closet for hanging up necklaces but it fell down a month ago (was only held up by double stick tape) and it hadn't gotten put back up. I really enjoyed having it in there. It was behind the back wall of our walk in closet, sometimes things were hung infront of it, sometimes it was in plain sight. It was handy, out of the way, and easily accessible while getting dressed. Then I saw the greatest idea and for 10$ hung a cheap thin towel bar in the back of our closet and used shower curtain hooks to hang things from. The best part is the ones I got have little balls on them which are great for separating the necklaces so each hook can hold about 6 necklaces!
You know what else that would be great for.....HEADBANDS! So Addy got one in her spare closet as well! Its hanging nicely above her hair supply drawers! We also finally hung up her hair clip holder that I made with an old frame from Goodwill (repainted, strung with ribbons). AND even hung up her new hooks for her little backpacks. (the hair clip holder and hooks fit perfectly behind her bedroom door)

We even had time after swim class to do some finger nail painting! AJ wanted different colors with glitter on top.
Ji'Robert wanted green with blue sparkles!
So it was a lovely day (even with a failed boy its too windy park attempt!).

The much anticipated trip pics!

In the past few days I have had tons of people email, facebook, and ask in person when I was posting trip pics; wondering why I hadn't posted updates while we were gone, why I haven't updated the blog yet... Well HERE IT IS! I kept my phone away from sight for the majority of the trip, I didn't check email, facebook, blogs or any other social network. I enjoyed the time with my family and let the rest of the world go on without me! It was awesome!

Our trip was FANTASTIC! I wouldn't have even considered taking a 2.5 and 4 year old to Florida but it was perfect and SO much fun! The kids did awesome. They sat at restaurants nicely, enjoyed just sitting on the balcony watching the boats come in, loved disney, and loved spending the vacation with Meena, Robyn, Papa, and Eric.

We stayed at a Condo in Ft Myers. It was right on the water and there was a big marina next door which was great. JT could just sit and watch the boats all day! There were manatees in the water below our balcony, dolphins off the dock, and warm weather everywhere!

The first day we decided to go to a park that had a train museum and ride on train... AKA little boy heaven!

Pure happiness!
After Robyn and Eric flew in, we went over to Sanibel and spent some time on the beach! There were a ton of rays in the water there that we were able to watch which was super cool!
My little man looking at the wide open blue!
Papa making a sand castle with the best grandson ever!
On the way into the Magic Kingdom!!

On the ferry over to the Kingdom!
The princesses were the highlight of the trip for Miss A...
Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)...
JT LOVED Princess Belle (AKA Sleeping Beauty)....
And her chest....

And the most anticipated princess.... Cinderella. She is the princess who AJ wanted to make sure that she got to see while we were at Disney.
So we had to get a picture of the girls with Cinderella...
In front of the much anticipated castle. Addy wanted to walk through the castle numerous times!

We got to meet Chip and Dale... no not those Chip n Dales... the Chipmunks!
Peter Pan... Oh how I love thee.... Peter Pan was AWESOME!!!! He was totally in character, super playful, so real.
What was really cool is that Tinkerbell (who was in a different location than Peter Pan) was just as awesome. Their lines played off of one another. She was very much into her character as well. They made it so enjoyable and so fun!
Aladdin and Jasmine were great. (Have you noticed that AJ had her Snow White costume on and off all day! Unfortunately we didn't get to see Snow White when we were there)
BUZZY!!!! This was the highlight of Disney for JT! His hero!
Aunt Robyn got the kids some Mickey ears that had flashing LED lights in them.... Super Cool!
Family pic time....
Just the girls....
After all the Disney fun was done, there was more to do on our trip.... We went to Manatee Park. It was lovely but there were no manatees that day. Lucky for us they were hanging out by our condo so we still got to see them!
Jared and JT head home a couple days before us due to work and coaching. The rest of us went on a sunset dolphin cruise... It rocked! We saw a TON of dolphins! The captain even had Addy and I go to the back of the boat and he had the dolphins play in the wake of the boat! SO cooL!

The sunset on the cruise...
We spent a day in Fort Myers Beach.... Shopped, Ate, Played in the ocean!
One joyful little girl! (this may be my favorite picture of the whole trip!)
Learning to body surf...
Its hard to see, but she wrote her name in the sand really big next to her!
My sister and I... About 8 years ago we went to California and have a picture like this on the beach... note Robyn has dug her feet into the ground about 8 inches making her the same height as me!
Cartwheels and handstands on the beach. Is there anything more relaxing as that!
I know I haven't typed out all of the details of the trip but it was a blast! It was our first family vacation and completely worth the stress of flying (which by the way went ok!). We made many memories and the kids are still talking about the trip. Addy about everything we did. JT about the minivan that we rented (he really loved it, not sure why!)!
